Katharine Juliet Ross (born January 29, 1940)[1] is an American actress. She is known for her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate (1967). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for that role.

Ross is also known for her roles as Etta Place in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), for which she won a BAFTA Award
