Joe Satriani Equipment - Well ok after post the biography of Joe Satriani how about if we continue to the equipment that used by Joe Satriani on his playing such as Guitar specs, Amps, Units, Effects and all equipment.

Satriani has endorsed Ibanez's JS Series guitars, and Peavey's JSX amplifier. Both lines were designed specifically as signature products for Satriani. The Ibanez JS100 was based on and replaced the Ibanez 540 Radius model which Satriani first endorsed. However, Satriani uses a variety of gear. Many of his guitars are made by Ibanez, including the JS1000, and JS1200. These guitars typically feature the DiMarzio PAF Pro (which he used up until 1993 in both the neck and bridge positions), the DiMarzio Fred (which he used in the bridge position from 1993 to 2005), and the Mo' Joe and the Paf Joe (which he uses in the bridge and neck positions, respectively, from 2005 to present day). FOR THE LOVE OF GUITAR

Starting off at the age of 18 with Frank Zapp, Steve Vai continues to amaze and astound his audience over 20 years later. During this 2 decade period he has been the ultimate sideman, memeber in a supergroup and has had a solo carreer of a guitar god. His playing reminds us that there is more to music than the stuff that Mtv and their like put out and say "Here, this is what is popular, this is cool". Steve Vai was born in the year 1961, and grew up in Long Island, New York. When he was 13, he went to a Led Zepplin concert a

Behind the Curtain: Steve Vai

Steve Vai & Steve Rosen

I have interviewed Steve Vai probably 10 times over the course of the past 30 years or so. Each and every time he has been nothing less than engaged, bright, articulate and totally willing to immerse himself in the moment. That is, when he was sitting there with you his mind wasn’t somewhere else though he was the type of person—as his huge output of work would attest—who was constantly balancing plates.

There was always an album to be completed, a tour to be arranged or some sort of guitar-driven activity requiring his time. Still, when you talked to Steve Vai, you were talking to all of him.

In this episode of Behind the Curtain, I’m going to talk about three moments when my life intersected with his. I’m going to tell you about the first time we met in 1985 and I loaned him an amplifier; the second encounter when he came to my house and gave me a guitar lesson; and the last time we met just a few months ago.

Though Steve Vai is now recognized as having one of the most remarkable and identifiable guitar
