Miranda is a two-time LEO AWARD nominated Canadian Actress and Singer-Songwriter, best known for her leading roles on Hallmark's "The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" series, SyFy's Primeval: New World and CBC's Heartland!

 

An Edmonton native, Miranda began her acting career at the age of 8, appearing in dozens of TV commercials. She studied as a theater major at the University of Alberta before receiving a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she trained in Musical Theatre. Her television career started a year later and she hasn't stopped working since.  Some of her other more recognizable TV credits include guest starring roles on hit shows such as BONES, DEXTER, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE, UGLY BETTY, SUPERNATURAL, MOTIVE, TRU CALLING, THE 4400 and "V" to name a few. Miranda Frigon

Miranda Frigon is a Canadian actress and singer/songwriter. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she began her acting career at age 8 by appearing in many television commercials. Her childhood and adolescence revolved around competitive gymnastics, ballet, and classical piano, so performing was a huge part of her life from an early age. She traveled and competed across Canada with her gymnastics team, all the while training professionally as a dancer. She went on to dance in a ballet company for several years before joining and touring with a more diverse company that included more varying dance styles. She then attended the University of Alberta, where she studied Theater and Psychology in addition to competing on the varsity gymnastics team. Shortly after, Miranda received a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City where she trained in musical theater before landing her first recurring television role on the Disney series "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids." This brought her back to Canada to where she began working and building her film

Miranda Frigon (born February 8, 1980) is a Canadian actress and singer-songwriter. She starred in the television series Primeval: New World (2012-13) and Day of the Dead (2021) and played Lynn Liggett-Smith in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie series Aurora Teagarden Mysteries from 2015 to 2022.

Life and career

Frigon was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She studied acting at the University of Alberta before receiving a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.[4] In 1998, she made her acting debut playing the recurring role on the syndicated sitcom Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.[4] The following years, Frigon guest-starred on Higher Ground, First Wave, The 4400, Tru Calling, The Dead Zone, Ugly Betty, and Dexter.
