The upcoming ordination imbroglio
I avoided it as much as possible. I found every excuse to delay it. I did not want more controversy. I did not want to make people feel uncomfortable, nor to have to field the protest. But I can’t delay it any longer, and I must speak out now. So here we go.
We all recall the episode of three years back in which a Yeshivat Chovevei Torah (YCT) star graduate openly denied the Singular Divine Authorship of the Torah as well as many other Ikarei Emunah (Cardinal Principles of Faith). Whether or not YCT was aware of this person’s beliefs when it ordained him, as well as exactly when he adopted such beliefs, is unknown to the public. Malcolm de Chazal
In the world of arts and literature, the name of Malcolm de Chazal stands out. This famous pœt, novelist, philosopher and artist was born in Vacoas on 12 September 1902. It was Sens-Plastique that brought de Chazal to fame. By the time of h

I am talking of our common ancestor to all the Chazal descendents here present, (he was the father of 15 children) Edmond de Chazal and his wife Claire Rouillard.
When one asks, in Mauritius, who was Edmond de Chazal, the answer, from those who remember his name, is generally: He was the founder of St Antoine SE but he is better known as the founder of the Swedenborgian Church in Mauritius.
I would like to show that he was much more than just that, I would like to show what led him to whole heartedly ado
