Pedro Rodríguez

Pedro arrived at FC Barcelona from his native Tenerife to join the U19 side at the age of 17 and soon made a name for himself in the youth set up. The forward became a fixture in the Barça B side under Pep Guardiola before making his debut for the first team under Frank Rijkaard in the 2007/08 season. When Guardiola took over the first team the following season, Pedro began to feature more regularly and in 2009 he signed his first contract as a first team player.

The man from the Canary Islands made history in that year when he became the first player to score in six different competitions; the league, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League, the Spanish Super Cup, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup. After his breakthrough season, Pedro became a vital member of a record breaking team. In May 2011 he scored the opening goal in the 3-1 win in the Champions League final against Manchester United at Wembley.

In the summer of 2015 he left to join Chelsea.
